With momblob going back to work next week, we thought it prudent to take Iva to daycare a couple of times, as a trial-run of sorts. As it happened, it was a great idea. We hadn’t adequately communicated with the center about what we needed to bring and in what form, so not only did momblob have the trauma of leaving Iva once, but then had to do it again after running to get formula and bottles and a couple of other things.
We’ve got another daycare day on Thursday, so hopefully that goes better, and we’ll be better prepared to go full-time next week!
She must have had a good time, though, because she was pooped when she got home just after lunch:
